Shipping & Delivery

We always aim to dispatch your orders the same day, this applies to orders placed before 3pm, orders placed after 3pm will be dispatched the following working day. First Class Delivery Orders should arrive the following day although occasionally will arrive the day after. We are unable to dispatch or deliver on Sundays or public holidays. We are able to guarantee next day delivery although an additional fee applies, please see postage options. On dispatch you will be sent via email a ‘dispatch notification’, where relevant this will contain a unique tracking number so that you can log on to the shipping providers website to follow the status of your items. Unfortunately we can not at this time post to America. We apologise for this inconvenience but this will hopefully soon be changing. We will not be held accountable for delays in postage times using Royal mail as our courier, or any other shipping service.

Your information will be handled in accordance with the data Protection Act, we will only use the personal information you provide to deliver the services you have requested, or for our lawful, disclosed purposes. We will not make your personal details available outside our organisation without your consent, unless obliged by law. Our website administration system is Magento and the legitimacy of it can be viewed here http://www.magentocommerce.com/ This is trusted, well encrypted software used by other leading companies. We use RBS World pay for all payments. This is an official secure service. We do not have access to the information that this system collects; i.e. Bank Account information and secure codes. We may use personal information such as your email address for future advertising, promoting other products/services that may be of interest to you from within the designacable.com product/service range. You will be asked by World Pay to authenticate your details using a Secure Code, which is SSL encrypted. If you have not already registered for this then you will be asked to do so. This is now a standard procedure and acts as an additional security measure. Returns & Replacements

thirty day non-abuse warranty and money back guarantee We are so CONFIDENT that you will love our products that if you are not totally satisfied with your purchase within 7 days from the dispatch date designacable will give you your money back in exchange for the goods   If within 30 days from the shipping date your cable is for some reason       FAULTY and this is due to manufacturer error not damage, designacable will exchange the goods or offer a refund.   If the cable is faulty then designacable will assume the       POSTAL costs for you, we will do this by sending you a pre paid postage packet. If you simply wish to return the product, you as the customer assume the postage costs. A     refund for the cost of the product, not the postage, will be made   Please see our ‘Terms and Conditions’ found at the bottom of each page on our website for full details about   this warranty/guarantee/returns policy - designacable.com     designacable can also test and REPAIR cables. Defective Returns

A defective product is one that does not work as it is intended and sold. Misuse and damage imposed by the user/customer is not a defective product. We will not be held accountable for misuse or damage. Products defective through soldering faults will be accepted as long as the product has not been misused or damaged in any way, soldering flaws are obvious and so is damaged soldering due to abuse. The technical report of a return will determine if it is a soldering flaw or misuse. If your cable is for some reason faulty within 30 days from purchase we will exchange the goods or offer a refund. The cable will be subject to scrutiny from our technical team before a refund is given.  If the cable is defective then we will assume the postage costs for you, we will do this by sending you a pre paid postage packet.  
 
Damaged Returns 


Damaged merchandise includes items that have been damaged in shipping. If a shipment arrives at your door with obvious shipping damage, PLEASE REFUSE DELIVERY. If you have already accepted delivery and then find shipping damage, please call designacable.com immediately on 0845 834 0180.  
If you receive damaged merchandise, please save all packaging material and paperwork – DO NOT THROW ANYTHING AWAY! Contact designacable.com HQ and we will take you through our returns process to get it sorted. 

 

Refunds

When a purchase has been made, you the customer have a 7 day 'cooling off' period from the day they receive your goods, in which time you should notify designacable.com that you wish to cancel your contract with designacable.com and a FULL refund be given, including any original delivery charges.
If the goods have already been dispatched and it is simply a 'change of heart' then the return delivery costs will be bourn by you the customer. However, if there is a fault, the return delivery costs will be bourn by designacable.com, the merchant.

Ordering

Order Questions or Changes 
If you have recently placed an order via the designacable.com website and need information about it or would like to change it, please contact us immediately. We begin processing your order immediately after we receive it, modifications are possible but we will not amend an order or suffer postage costs once the item has been dispatched. Please see ‘Returning a Product’ above if you wish to change an item after it has been dispatched

designacable.com only accepts payments in British Pounds Sterling.
Credit Card Orders 
With our designacable.com shopping service, you can use Paypal, Google Checkout, Discover, Visa, and MasterCard and Debit for orders to anywhere in the UK, Europe and rest of world. When using a credit card, please provide your credit card billing address as well as the shipping address, and contact phone numbers. If the billing address you give us does not match the one that is given to the financial institution, or if authorization is not given, we reserve the right to cancel the order without notification. We cannot work out credit card problems with the financial institution; you must settle problems with them and reorder when the problem has been resolved.  
 
Cash On Delivery Orders 
Cash On Delivery orders are not accepted.  
 
Credits and Balances Due 
Any credits on your account will be refunded promptly. The same method will be used to refund the amount that was used when you placed the order. For example, if the order was paid by credit card, we will credit your credit card account, we will not refund in any other way or to any other form than the one in which the purchase was made. 
 
Backorders 
The unique nature our designacable.com service makes it unlikely that your desired products will not be shipped promptly because they are on backorder. You will be notified by email if your order cannot be shipped within the time scale laid out in the ‘about us’ section and you will be notified of the reason and expected delivery date.
 
International Orders
 
Unfortunately we will not ship to the U.S and Canada at present. We will happily ship to U.K, Europe and rest of world.

All prices, pictures and descriptions on this site are subject to change. We maintain no responsibility for inadvertent errors. Please contact us regarding price or promotion discrepancies.
