Mono 6.35mm Jack Connector, 2 pole, Male, Nickel Contacts, Nickel plated steel housing.

These are "Chassis-hugging" plugs for situations where space is at a premium. They are made from solid steel, not flimsy metal like cheaper versions, and once inserted into the socket sit 12mm out, compared with 25mm of an angled Neutrik NP2RX. This allows pedals to be placed side by side or saves space at the back of racks.

This can be used to create an unbalanced or mono cable, making it ideal for use with guitars and instruments. It can still be used in balanced sockets but the benefits of balanced audio will not be achieved
