M3 (thread) x 16mm (thread length) metric machine screws, made from 7075 Aluminium Alloy.
The head is 'socket-cap' style with Hex screw for tightening. The colours are achieved by Anodizing the screws. Anodizing is an electrochemical process that converts the metal surface of the screw into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, anodic oxide finish. Aluminium is ideally suited to anodizing.
These are supplied with an 'M3 Silver Lock Nut'. Lock nuts require a little more force than a normal nut as you are force-threading the screw through plastic. You will need a spanner (5.5mm) or a strong pair of fingers, but once they are on they do not move.
