If you're adding an RCA-equipped source to your Naim system, this is the cable for getting the connection right without having to work out DIN pinouts yourself.

It's built for taking the left and right RCA outputs from a source into a compatible Naim 5 pin DIN analogue input. That's important because Naim can use different connections within the same style of DIN socket for input and output — two cables can look virtually identical and still be wired for completely different jobs.

We use two individual runs of Mogami W2549, giving the left and right channels their own screened cable. Its 100% coverage spiral screen helps protect the signal from external interference, while low capacitance keeps electrical loading on the source to a minimum.

We're not looking for the cable to change the sound. We're looking for it to carry the signal without unnecessarily affecting it.

Performance & Build Quality

Each cable is assembled in our UK workshop using two runs of Mogami W2549 with Switchcraft DIN and RCA connectors. The left and right channels are correctly identified, wired to the required Naim input configuration, then inspected and tested before dispatch.

Why use Mogami W2549 for this cable?

W2549 is well screened, low capacitance and flexible. We use two separate runs here, so the left and right channels each have their own screened cable from the RCA connectors back to the DIN.

Can you make this longer than the original Naim interconnect?

Yes. We build these to your chosen length, which is particularly useful when your source isn't sitting directly alongside your Naim equipment.
