The right cable for a NAP 250DR
The NAP 250DR is a little unusual. Its single XLR input carries both the left and right channels, so a generic DIN-to-XLR cable isn't necessarily wired correctly just because the connectors fit.
This cable is built specifically for the job, connecting a compatible Naim 4 pin DIN output to the XLR input of a NAP 250DR. The NAC 282 is one example, but it isn't limited to that model.
We've chosen Mogami W2549 for the cable itself. Its 100% coverage spiral screen helps protect the signal from external interference, while its low capacitance keeps electrical loading on the source to a minimum. In practical terms, it's designed to carry the analogue signal cleanly without adding noise or unnecessarily affecting it.
We're not promising it will change the sound of your Naim system. The point is that it shouldn't.

Ideal For
Ideal for Naim systems using a compatible 4 pin DIN output into a NAP 250DR, including the NAC 282. It also makes a practical NAP 250DR replacement cable if the original interconnect has been lost, damaged or wasn't included with a second-hand amplifier.
Not sure if yours is compatible? E-mail us with the Naim model you're connecting and we'll check it for you.
Performance & Build Quality
Built in our UK workshop using a locking Switchcraft DIN for a secure connection at the Naim end, Neutrik XX Series XLR and Mogami W2549. Each cable is assembled to the required Naim wiring configuration, inspected and tested before dispatch.
FAQ
Is this only for the NAC 282?
No. The NAC 282 is one compatible example. This cable is for Naim equipment with the appropriate 4 pin DIN output feeding a NAP 250DR.
Why can't I use any 4 pin DIN to XLR cable?
The NAP 250DR uses its single XLR connection for both left and right channels, so the cable needs the correct wiring rather than a generic DIN-to-XLR pinout.
