The cable has 100% dual screening, delivering a super low noise floor. The first layer of screening is a conductive thermoplastic which gives 100% coverage over the signal conductor. The second layer is a lapped copper spiral screen, this also acts as the ground connection between the devices.
The connectors are REAN by Neutrik. Neutrik are the Worldwide #1 in pro-audio connectivity. They now offer a budget line of connectors that they are proud to put their name on. They are a standard all metal plug that is gold plated.
On cables 3m or longer we use a 10cm length of ‘Copper Cables’ branded Heatshrink on both sides. This is positioned underneath the plug housing coming down the cable and serves as a strain relief to improve the lifespan of the cable.
