Wiring Notes

This cable follows the standard 4-pin XLR DC power wiring convention commonly used in broadcast and professional video equipment. All 4 pins are wired, and are 'pin to pin'.

Why Fox 4 core cable?

The lead is constructed using FOX 4cDC 4-core 0.75 mm² cable, featuring stranded copper conductors and a tough matte-black TPU outer jacket designed for flexibility and resistance to abrasion, oils, salt water and environmental exposure. With its UV-stable polyurethane jacket, the cable remains flexible while offering strong resistance to ageing, weathering and mechanical wear.

Why Seetronic Connectors?

Both ends are terminated with Seetronic SCMF4 (female) and Seetronic SCMM4 (male) 4-pin XLR connectors. These connectors feature robust zinc die-cast metal housings, secure latch-locking operation and reliable solder contacts. The connectors support conductor sizes up to 2.5 mm² and are designed for professional cable assemblies.
