SPS7-SBK was specifically designed for Y or insert cables assemblies. It features a proprietary oblong shaped ring that maintains the cables parallel to each other, thus preventing any stress build-up on the solder joints induced by the cables tendency to fold/twist on one another.

What is the best cable to use with the SPS7-S connectors? These connectors do not have internal cable strain relief, so we have found that two lengths of Van Damme Lite cable works the best, being a snug fit.
