Van Damme High-Definition Speaker cables can be found in many professional environments and are used for critical near field monitoring in many world class recording and mastering studios. This range of cables use the 4mm variant and are capable of dealing with high-power systems, we recommend 2000w MAX. If you are using these with lower powered systems, then they allow for plenty of headroom.

We have used high-quality 4mm Side-Arm Banana plugs, these are superior to the traditional splayed banana plugs as they do not flatten over time. The tension-springs (side-arm) retain their shape well. We screw and then solder onto the conductor using a 3.5% silver solder, and then reinforce with Techflex-Shrinkflex Heat shrink.
