FX cable connector with noiseless ON-OFF switch short-circuiting contacts 2+3. For use with a microphone without switch.

We do not advise using these with Phantom Powered Devices, such as Condenser Microphones. It will produce a very loud and audible 'Pop' when the phantom power is disconnected.
