- Shell: Die-cast zinc. Satin nickel finish, black velvet.
- Pin Contacts: Silver-plated copper alloy. Resists tarnishing, and provides excellent electrical conductivity. Gold is available.
- Latch Release: Steel, nickel-plated.
- Insert Insulation: Molded thermoplastic.
